1. so....that的用法：

意为“如此......以至于.....”

so用来修饰形容词或副词。

eg: The bag is so heavy that I cant carry it.

（这个袋子太重了，我提不动）

2.同义替换：

so.....that可以和too.....to.....或者enough to do sth替换。

eg：The car is so expensive that I cant afford it.

=The car is too expensive for me to buy.

(这辆车太贵了，我负担不起。)

eg: He is so old that he can take care of himself.

=He is old enough to take care of himself.

(他年龄足够大了，可以照顾自己了。)

需要注意的是：that后面加句子，to 后面加动词原形。

3.so....that, such.....that，so that的辨析

(1)so....that: 意为“如此......以至于.....; so用来修饰形容词或副词。

(2)such.....that: 意为“如此......以至于.....”such用来修饰名词。

(3)so that: 意为“为的是，以便于”,用来引导目的状语从句。

eg：She was so angry that she couldnt speak.

(她太生气了，以至于说不出来话了。)

It was such a boring speech that i feel asleep.

（那是一个如此无聊的演讲，以至于我都睡着了。）

I read more books so that i can catch up with my classmates.

(我读更多的书，以便能赶上我的同学。)

4.注意：

如果名词前有much，many,few, little等词语修饰时，要用so而不是such.

eg: She has changed so much that i can hardly recognize her.

( 她变化太大了，以至于我几乎认不出来她。）
